Day 13 - Enjoy Your Rest

Jeremiah 6:16
Thus says the Lord:
“Stand by the roads, and look,
and ask for the ancient paths,
where the good way is; and walk in it,
and find rest for your souls.
But they said, ‘We will not walk in it.’
As we rest today, I will keep this as short as possible. I love this passage because it points me to Jesus. He is the good Way; we should walk with Him and we'll find rest for our souls today. The last sentence in there reminds us that this is a choice. We can choose this or not. We can choose to rest in Him today or not. Choose to see Him, walk in Him, and you'll be able to enjoy your rest today!
Pray with me:
"Lord, I want to walk in Your ways today. I want to worship You with my rest. Help me to do things that I will enjoy. Help me to find rest for my soul, to be refreshed and recharged. I ask this in Jesus' name, amen."
