Day 8

​"Jesus answered, 'My kingdom is not of this world. If my kingdom were of this world, my servants would have been fighting, that I might not be delivered over to the Jews. But my kingdom is not from the world'" (John 18:36, ESV).

Beloved of God, it is my pleasure today to remind you that the kingdom of God is not of this world. If we have pledged fealty, loyalty, and devotion to our King, then we are part of His kingdom. I remind you that you don't operate by this world's rules and standards, but God's! As we devote all that we are to Him, we will extend His rule and reign in the hearts of those who love Him. We will extend His kingdom. Take some time to reflect on your past week; think about the ways that you helped extend His kingdom. Celebrate those times. Thank God for those times. Ask Him for those opportunities to increase!

After taking the time to do this, relax, kick up your feet, and get some rest. You deserve it.
