"6 The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. ... 11 You will be enriched in every way to be generous in every way, which through us will produce thanksgiving to God" (2 Corinthians 9:6,11 ESV).
We are sowing in the beginning of this year so that we will reap bountifully throughout this year! We are dedicating ourselves fully to the Lord at the beginning of this year so that we can see HIM move powerfully in our lives in 2022. When we get our will out of the way, we can then see His will AND do His will much easier. As we humble ourselves to the Lord, He will increase in our lives.
I truly believe that this will be a year of favor, increase, and blessing for the people of God. But, we have to be willing to submit to Jesus; we have to give the Lord control of our hearts and lives. Don't sow your heart sparingly to the Lord in this dedication; sow your heart BOUNTIFULLY in Him! Give it all to Him, and you will reap bountifully.
Give Him everything you are. Think about that word: everything. Everything means everything. Finances, love, time, service, worship, exercise, cars, trucks, houses, investments, art, and anything else in your life you can think of. Everything. Dedicate it all to Him. Give it to Him to use for His glory. Sow it all, plant it all. And I believe as we lay down all that we are to Him, we will reap bountifully in 2022.
Notice Paul writes, "You will be enriched in EVERY WAY to be generous in EVERY WAY." We will be able to be generous in every way in 2022 because we are going to REAP INCREDIBLE BLESSINGS in 2022! This will take place so that He can be pleased. This will take place so that HE can be glorified! As we experience blessing and favor, as we reap bountifully in 2022, we will not withhold our gratitude or praise! We will praise Him and give Him all the glory!
Believe it! Receive it! Sow it and reap it in 2022!
During the 21 Days of our Dedication, we will post what we hear from the Lord here. Make sure to follow along, not only in reading, but in joining us in this dedication to the Lord! We hope these words stir your spirit to follow hard after the Lord in 2022.
