MISSION
HELPING PEOPLE FIND FREEDOM BY DEMONSTRATING THE LOVE AND POWER OF GOD
ONGOING MISSION
HELPING PEOPLE LIVE IN THIS FREEDOM DAILY
VISION
To best live out this mission, we believe we must help people experience the freedom Jesus came to bring. He declared the vision for His ministry in Luke 4:18-19 when He quoted from Isaiah the prophet “The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”

FREEDOM FOR PRISONERS
Living in a fallen world has caused emotional and spiritual damage to mankind. Freedom Fellowship will help people experience freedom from hurts, habits and hang-ups that have kept us in bondage. “So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” John 8:36 |
FREEDOM FROM POVERTY
God has a heart for the poor, those on the margins of society. At Freedom Fellowship we will seek to live out God's heart for the poor. We define success not simply by how many come to church but how many go out to be the church- sharing and demonstrating the Good News to the poor. |
FREEDOM IN THE SPIRIT
Freedom Fellowship is a body of believers seeking to live under the anointing of the Holy Spirit. "Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom." 2 Corinthians 3:17 |
FREEDOM FROM OPPRESSION
Spiritual warfare is real, demons are real but Jesus came to take back the kingdom and give us authority over the enemy. We do not fight for victory, we fight from victory! “I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.” Luke 10:19 |
FREEDOM FROM SIN
Jesus came to declare the year of the Lord’s favor. This is language referring back to the celebration of the year of Jubilee talked about in Leviticus 25 when slaves were set free and debts were forgiven. All of us owe a debt of sin we can not pay, but Jesus came to pay the debt and set us free so that our debt of sin can be set free and we can live in the freedom of salvation! “For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body ruled by sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin—because anyone who has died has been set free from sin.“ Romans 6:6-7 |
FREEDOM FROM DISEASE
Jesus came to give sight to the blind. We believe in a healing God. We will anoint with oil, pray and trust God for healing. Healing is in the atonement- "When evening came, many who were demon-possessed were brought to him, and he drove out the spirits with a word and healed all the sick. This was to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah: “He took up our infirmities and bore our diseases.” Matthew 8:16-17 |
